The Andaz Hotel London Liverpool Street (September 2022)

The Andaz Hotel London Liverpool Street is located in the heart of the city and is a stones throw away from the station making it a perfect location for our first event in September but also for corporate events.

A welcome drink in the uber cool lobby allowed us time to catch up with each other and learn more about the history of the hotel from our hosts. This building has always housed a hotel since 1884 when it was originally built as the Great Eastern Hotel.

The hotel has 267 bedrooms and 14 meeting spaces. We explored a number of these spaces including the Great Eastern Room and the Bishopgate & Chancery which are perfect for conferences, meetings, product launches etc. For the more glamorous events the 1901 Ballroom and the Masonic Temple (currently having a refurb) are the places to be, they are both gorgeous spaces and the Temple is a true hidden gem – can’t wait to return to show this space to our members! The spaces can hold up to 250 people for a large conference or 500 for a drinks reception. More detail can be found here.

As well as the above spaces, the hotel has its very own pub which can be privately hired and would work really well for the World Cup later this year; and the wine bar has a great atmosphere for smaller events.

After exploring the spaces, we headed to the Andaz Studio which is a modern self-contained space with natural daylight which would work really well for a dining or drinks reception, a team building offsite day or a strategy meeting. The space can accommodate up to 80 people standing. We were welcomed with a cocktail masterclass, spa treatments and delicious food stations for us to enjoy whilst networking with our members and hosts. The sushi and beef Wellington are still being discussed!

The hotel has many excellent options for events, if you would like to explore the spaces please reach out to us and we will introduce you to our hosts. Thank you to the Andaz and Hyatt team for hosting us, we can’t wait to return to explore the Temple after the refurb!
