The Marylebone Hotel (May 2022)

The hotel is located within a 5 minute walk from Bond Street and with the Elizabeth Line due to open at Bond Street any day it really does mean super easy transport options including directly from Heathrow airport.

Our evening started the way we love – with a glass of bubbles in hand – before conducting a show around of the hotel. The hotel has a variety of bedroom categories including a number of suites; and we were lucky enough to check out one of the suites. As well as a stunning accommodation option it also lends itself well to a small drinks reception or private dining space on the terrace (which is covered with a TV / fire pit) with amazing views of Marylebone. In terms of the event spaces, the hotel has five key event spaces that can accommodate smaller groups to up to 120 attendees. The spaces all have a relaxed and modern vibe with ample natural daylight. The spaces work extremely well for exclusive use as a self-contained space. We were all surprised to find a hidden terrace within the hotel, this space is adjacent to a meeting room that can be either used for a meeting or a private dining space using the terrace for networking/drinks receptions. The terrace is also covered so the British weather won’t stop you from holding an event in a beautiful space. More details can be found here on the meeting spaces.

After a tour of the spaces, we enjoyed a private dining experience with our members and our hosts for the evening. The room looked stunning for a dining experience; as well as enjoying a beautiful setting we were also treated to amazing service and delicious food. The portions were very generous and as well as tasting amazing they were also presented beautifully – perfect for our Instagram stories!! As always, we enjoyed lots of conversations (events and non-events) with our members – it is always so much fun when we are together.

Our hosts had a magical surprise for us, over dessert we were joined by Chris Dodd (@chrisdoodmagic on Instagram) a magician who amazed us with his magic tricks from the traditional card tricks, to reading our members’ minds and a golden ticket moment of finding your chosen ripped up playing card in the middle of a sealed chocolate bar. The evening ended on a magical high – a great addition to a private dining experience!

We highly recommend exploring the hotel for your events, do reach out to us if you would like us to connect you with our hosts.
