The Rosewood (November 2016)

Our final event for 2016 was held at The Rosewood Hotel and was one of the quickest events to fill all year, I am pretty sure people cancelled other acceptances in order to attend! Ha ha

The Rosewood

We held our event on a night filled with transport issues, rain, laddered tights but to name a few #eventprofs issues however we all made it on time to the archway off the busy street leading to the glamorous Edwardian courtyard that is synonymous with The Rosewood.  The hotel is just by Holborn station and we made it in time for a fabulous welcome reception.  Greeted by champagne we saw both old and new faces and as usual, it was fab to catch up.  The Rosewood team had some amazing canapes on offer and I, as usually, must have had about 25 arancini balls.

After an introduction to The Rosewood team, and each other, we split up into two groups and had a tour of the hotel and all of the stunning event spaces.  Priding themselves on combining both modern and original architecture, the hotel has the most stunning meeting spaces.  The Grand Ballroom, the biggest room, can host up to 555 reception style.  It’s dramatic staircases, ability to be split into three rooms and separate entrance make it perfect for both conferences and for a gala dinner. It is simply beautiful.  Alongside the Grand Ballroom, the hotel boasts private dining rooms, boardrooms and a variety of different sized meeting rooms with the ability to host from 21 to 96 theatre style (depending on the room). You can see the capacity charts here.

After our tours, it was back to the networking where we had more drinks and canapes (more arancini balls) and got to know the Rosewood team.  We had such a lovely evening and felt quite sad when it was time to leave. We have had the best year at Eventprofslive with some fabulous events and are so looking forward to seeing all our members in 2017 for an even busier year!
