Luton Hoo FAM (July 2016)

Its probably been 4 years since I have last been to Luton Hoo and as soon as I checked in, it all came flooding back.  Luton Hoo is stunning and situated on the border of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Our FAM trips are becoming quite popular with corporate event managers and 12 of us were lucky enough to go along last Friday to see all the meeting and event spaces, have a stunning dinner and stay the night.  Most of us stayed until halfway through the next day to, enjoying all the hotel has to offer.

Luton Hoo is synonymous with style and grace and it is always a firm favourite for corporate groups.  The five star property is just 45 minutes from London and is split into two styles,  The Mansion House or the purpose built venue, Warren Weir, which has been designed specifically to offer business clients who value total privacy a self-contained setting that is totally discreet. I believe i counted 13 different meeting rooms, you can read about their capacities here.

Our group had a tour of all the meeting and event spaces and of the vast grounds – the amount and different types of team building activities you can do is huge.  Everything from clay pigeon shouting to water sports on their lake – you really could build a fab event.

After our tour, we had a lovely dinner in the Churchill Room (watched by Churchill himself via a huge portrait) which seats 24 and we chatted all things events, life, love and had a few glasses of wine.

On Saturday it was time to check-out but not before a lovely breakfast, dip in the pool and a spa treatment.

We really enjoyed this FAM trip, we got to know a few of our members a little better and everyone just loved Luton Hoo. Our rooms were stunning, the service fantastic and we felt very privileged to be able to stay the night!
