A perfect summer’s evening with no clouds in the sky showed off our evening at the Lookout, 8 Bishopsgate, to perfection.
Located a short walk from Liverpool Street station, the Lookout is a fantastic viewing platform that provides incredible views of London and has a number of spaces for events.
Rhubarb Catering & Hospitality fully manage the Lookout providing dedicated account and event management for all events on site.
We started the evening with a showcase of their event spaces for meetings and conferences. This includes an auditorium for up to 160 delegates with adjacent space for networking breaks. Imagine your day conference here and then a quick 25 seconds journey in the lift to the Lookout for a drinks reception! There are also four executive suites providing panoramic views with flexibility for meetings, private dining or small drinks reception, the largest room holds 24 people. The largest space is the Lookout which is a viewing gallery open for evening events for up to 260 standing guests for a drinks reception. Dinners would be stunning here too!
Next door to the Lookout, is the Marketplace Restaurant which can be hired exclusively for an event for up to 200 standing or 80 seated.
Within the Rhubarb group, in London they also have the Sky Garden which is a large venue for up to 700 people standing; and also Framless the innovative and creative space for up to 450 people. There are other properties within the portfolio.
We experienced the fantastic service of the Rhubarb team with drinks and canapés in the Lookout followed by a delicious 3 course dinner in one of the executive suites with stunning views of London.
