The last time our members visited The Standard was back in October 2021, and what an event. You can read all about it here. This year, we made a trip back with many of our new members, many of whom this was their very first Eventprofslive Event and the others, well, it was their first visit to the property and what a night we had. Arriving at 6.30 pm, our members headed straight up to the roof terrace (with the most amazing panoramic views of London, from a viewpoint you’ve likely not seen before) for a quick catch-up before a complete site visit and the most fantastic dinner (check out the pictures below).
Located in the heart of King’s Cross, The Standard Hotel London is a contemporary and luxurious hotel that opened in 2019. With 266 modern bedrooms and seven well-equipped meeting spaces (more on those here), it is the perfect venue for corporate events. I have used their town house spaces for many corporate offsites over the years, and the rooms always go over a treat. We also held the dinner for our event here, and our members loved it. It has a bar, lounge area and terrace, and it was stunning.
Their event spaces offer state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, making them an excellent choice for conferences, product launches, and board meetings; working in conjunction with their in-house team, who have extensive experience organizing corporate events and are dedicated to ensuring that each event runs smoothly and are a safe pair of hands.
The hotel’s central location makes it easy to access by train, tube, and bus, with many of London’s famous attractions within walking distance. The British Museum, Camden Market, and West End Theatre District are just a few of the nearby attractions, so if you were to use the property for a conference, you could easily walk your delegates to any of these attractions for a team-building activity.
The Standard Hotel London is the ideal venue for corporate events. Its central location, and fantastic meeting and event spaces, many of which your delegates wouldn’t have seen before, make it well worth a site visit.
