With multiple flights from London daily, a sample itinerary for your event in Denmark could look like the following:
Day 1- Welcome “Hygge”
Welcome to Copenhagen!
Guests will be greeted at Copenhagen Airport by the Idéa Nordic team. They have a few transfer options depending on your needs:
For public transportation, join the train or the metro; the journey from the airport to the centre of Copenhagen by public transport only takes 12 mins! Our most sustainable option, without a doubt.
Their green motorcoaches will be best if you prefer to keep the group together.
They can also take your group to your hotel by RIB boats from Copenhagen Airport. Their luggage will be transported by motorcoach directly to your hotel.
At the hotel, VIP check-in at a private desk and the possibility of a welcome lounge, sweet & savoury snacks will be served, as well as hot and cold drinks.
Free late afternoon to relax and get ready for dinner.
Welcome Reception- Dinner
The fantastic Balanchine Lounge venue is located by the World-famous Tivoli Gardens by the heart of Copenhagen. Tivoli Gardens was founded in 1843 and has become a national treasure and an international attraction. Fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen visited many times, as did Walt Disney who even found the inspiration to his own Disney World here.
The group will be welcomed by the Tivoli Youth Guard Band. During the Welcome Reception Dinner, participants will enjoy the fantastic view over Tivoli from Balanchine Lounge, located at the top of Tivoli’s Concert Hall. Possibility to surprise the group with a private ride in one of Tivoli’s roller-coasters, including a photo opportunity during the ride. The printed photo with the company logo will be sent to participants as a welcome gift to their room.
Day 2- Meet the Real Vikings
Breakfast at the hotel at leisure
Conference or content as part of your programme in the hotel’s conference and meeting space.
Gala Dinner- Vikings & Danish Folklore
The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, commonly known simply as Glyptoteket, is an art museum in Copenhagen. The collection represents the private art collection of Carl Jacobsen, the son of the founder of the Carlsberg Breweries. The majestic venue, full of art and history, offers the perfect frame for once in a lifetime experience! At Glyptoteket, the menus are based on Nordic cuisine, and they change according to the season with locally produced ingredients.
Vikings and Danish folklore date back to 793 A.D. and have inspired many blockbuster movies and global TV series, such as The Vikings, Ragnarök and Thor.
Day 3- Modern & Trendy
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out, followed by themed half-day activity with a focus on modern and trendy Copenhagen.
Experience the Coolest Neighbourhood in the World- Noerrebro
Did you know that Time Out-Magazine has awarded Noerrebro with the title of the Coolest Neighborhood in the World- 2021? Noerrebro is a hip, multicultural neighbourhood, popular with students and creative types. From kebab joints and indie shops to the design boutique stores and Michelin-star restaurants. The guide will walk the group along the greatest spots of the district, the Instagram world-famous spot – Superkilen, the Red Square, the charming street of Blågårsgade and the hippest area of Steffansgade with its little Danish boutiques selling handcraft goods. Maybe you would like to add a graffiti workshop? There will be a visit to Noerrebro brewery for beer tasting, a brewery visit and lunch. Guests will enjoy a typical Danish lunch- Smorrebrod, an open-faced sandwich.
After lunch, farewell transfer to Copenhagen Airport. Your luggage will be sent from the hotel, and you will collect it on arrival at Copenhagen airport.
