For over ten years, Talas-M has often been referred to as the leading event specialist in Montenegro. Based on that reputation, they have worked with many clients in that decade, including Volkswagen, Airbus, Henkel, Coca-Cola, L’Oreal, Chanel, Toyota, Renault, and IBM – pretty impressive, right?
Early this month, Eventprofslive witnessed their superb event support first hand and could not recommend this DMC more highly.
We travelled to Montenegro for a FAM arranged by our DMC Partner, Destinations Unlimited. The FAM was organized with an eye on detail, and the range of activities, venues, properties, and food and beverage offerings we experienced was exemplary. We would recommend them to any corporate event planner looking to execute an event in Montenegro.
For a flight time of just over two hours, Montenegro is located in southeast Europe. In summer, there are direct flights; however, you can also fly into Dubrovnik, wherein a drive of less than an hour, you cross the border and are there. The country is quite frankly, stunning and embraces all the captivating contrasts of an entire continent within a comparatively small territory, and you would be pretty surprised to know that whilst Montenegro is relatively small, some of its more unique facts include:
- Five unique national parks
- UNESCO protected old towns
- One of the deepest canyons –Tara River
- The biggest lake in the Balkans –Skadar
- A rare fjord on the Adriatic coast –Boka Bay
When working in Montenegro, there is an abundance of properties to suit any budget. Whilst attending the fam, we stayed in the Regent Porto, Montenegro (details here) but were fortunate to conduct site visits at Mamula Island and the One & Only – both simply stunning properties and between the three of them, you have all bases covered for any type of delegate and, any budget. A buyout of Mamula Island is to us, what dreams are made of for a board level retreat.
When it comes to examples of event programs, we have a couple of examples here. Whilst attending the fam, we were able to test out quad bikes which are a great idea for team building, and we loved our visit to the Old Town; you could walk around there for hours; there is so much to see.
We loved Montenegro for corporate retreats or offsite or to be honest, events of any kind. Its a breathtaking country with amazing hotels, culinary options and the warm hospitality. The sunshine also helps!
