Our October Eventprofslive networking event was held last Wednesday at not one but two properties. COMO hotel group owns not only the 2 properties we were lucky enough to see but have 12 (soon to be 13 properties) with 2 of them in London. Lucky us!
The Halkin and The Metropolitan hotels were where we spent our evening and what a great evening we had.
Our group met at The Halkin hotel at 6.30 pm for a quick glass of Cava before our tour of the hotel and its spaces The bar at The Halkin can be hired for private events. It would be perfect for a small cocktail making event. The Halkin hotel has 44 bedrooms and 4 dedicated event spaces which can accommodate a variety of meeting types. We loved the bedrooms, they have such a sense of relaxation about them which I believe is the aim of the group of properties with bedrooms containing their very own yoga mat.
After a short 5 minute walk to The Metropolitan hotel, we also had a tour of the event spaces and bedrooms and fell in love with the suite. What a view and what a room. With the same signature scent throughout both properties you really don’t feel like your in a hotel but rather a spa. The Metropolitan hotel has 144 bedrooms at 19 suites and its vibrant Park Lane location coupled with Nobu next door means this is one chic hotel winning a variety of awards and accolades.
After our site visit, the group sat down in the hotel’s private dining room where we were treated to a stunning menu and our usual all things events conversation.
