A classic in any event professionals book of hotels/venues is the Mandarin Oriental! The London hotel is located in the heart of Knightsbridge providing a fantastic location for an event and accommodation for your delegates.
We spent the evening in the stunning restaurant within the hotel, Aubrey, which is a Japanese restaurant. The restaurant has a private dining room for up to 12 people and an adjacent private cocktail bar for pre and post drinks. This space works really well for a small drinks reception which is where we were based for the evening. The restaurant also has a number of other spaces for 22, 33 and 44 people. The restaurant can be hired exclusively for a seated dinner for 106 people or standing for 210 people. The food is delicious and provides an exclusive and intimate ambience with the stunning decor.
The hotel has five event spaces all with natural daylight and even includes a stunning terrace! The largest space is the ballroom which can hold up to 400 people for a standing reception and has direct access to the terrace – perfect for those summer events. The other beautiful spaces can hold between 70 – 180 delegates depending on the style of the event.
The hotel group are opening their second hotel in London next year in Mayfair. We can’t wait to hear more about the hotel and see it next year!
