We held an event with Make Events at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel which is located in Chelsea by Chelsea Harbour.
The theme for the day was “let us reintroduce ourselves”. Make Events have had a transformation over the past year with new team members, a brand refresh and new service offerings. The afternoon provided an opportunity to demonstrate to our members that Make Events deliver events in Manchester, London and the world.
We held the event in the penthouse which consists of three suites that can be joined together to create a private self contained event space for up to 80 guests on rounds or 100 guests for drinks. The space has a private terrace with views of the harbour.
Throughout the afternoon, we heard from Make Events and guest speakers on:
- The latest venue insights
- Working with the design studio at Make Events
- We heard from Holly Bennett on all things creativity
- How relationships are crucial for successful partnerships with agencies and corporate event professionals
- How to be an resilient event professional
There were plenty of opportunities for us all to catch up with the Make Events team and our members over a delicious lunch and also during the interactive networking breaks where our members decorated cupcakes and made mocktails. A great example of how to be more creative with the networking break.
We were also joined by James Everett who captured the afternoon for us all.
